This is yet more evidence of the absolute and utter railroading of minority leadership. Mayor Dixon used approximately $500 worth of gift cards for “personal” use. Instead of requiring the Mayor to pay back the used cards with an additional $1,000 dollars-her entire career and pension could be down the toilet. There have been many other Mayor’s (male and often white) who have done far worse and still remained in office. The violation of trust is the issue! And for that she would likely not be reelected as the city’s mayor. However, many constituents have been wowed by the performance of this Mayor and do not want to see her removed because of the fantastic job she has done with getting Baltimore back on it’s proverbial feet. At the end of the day isn’t that what truly matters?

The stance on the Afganistan War is curious considering the fact that the United States is going through it’s own imbalances. However, the conspiracy theorist in me is screaming that: “There are threats that have not been shared with the general citizens of the US”. At one point Obama makes mention of weapons of mass destruction which was a overused unsubstantiated claim used by Bush to access the resources of the Middle East and Africa. Given this fact, the question of the TRUE objectives of these “missions” must be authentically articulated.

My problem with this presentation is that it only briefly and I mean briefly-acknowledges the true contribution of the Native Americans. Had it not been for the Native Americans it is quite likely that the original settlers would have perished due to overwhelming starvation. It was fascinating to hear that a WOMAN was the creator of an ANNUAL day of Thanksgiving based on the Puritan tradition that had previously celebrated the day whenever they felt like it.

Seriously, this issue is running quietly rampid through many communities. Unfortunately the psychosocial development of the affected child grows to distrust individuals and often cannot effectively distinguish sexuality roles.
